'No Ground' error when unplugging from wall outlet

I recently purchased the Advanced Series 48A kit, and it has firmware version 8.2.3.CGMI.
If the status of the station is 'active' with no vehicle connected and the ground monitoring safety test enabled, a 'no ground' error occurs when it is unplugged from the wall outlet. The error does not occur if the station is in 'disabled' status when unplugged. Is this the intended behavior?
I unplugged the station without putting it to sleep a few times before I realized that the 'no ground' error count was increasing every time I did that. Is there a way to reset the error count?

@James
It is a known issue, the station registers a false positive in the last split second before losing all power.
