Firmware download under power?

Sorry if this is covered somewhere else or has been asked and answered: If I wish to update the firmware after putting the 50A deluxe kit together, do I do it with the 240V power applied or not? Do I need to disconnect any connections to the OpenEVSE board to do the programming? I have the programming board from the store here. Thanks, ...Roger

It is best to remove power, upgrade and power back up. The programmer will power the microprocessor during the upgrade.
