Control pilot amps dropping to 6 amps

This just started happening, when charging my mache the control pilot just drops to 6 amps from 48 amps after a little bit. Is there any way to find out what is causing this or see if it's the evse or the car causing this issue?

 Is there too high a temperature due to a loose connection?...

What does temp2 show??

It ended up being too hot, melted the contactor. I think it would be awesome if there is a safety related issue the ui should show a warning of some kind.

@mike

Temperature issues do show up in the UI both onscreen and in the web portal. When active the display will show a Throttling message and if the station exceeds 72C it will shutdown, turn red and display a shutdown warning. Real time temperature values are shown on both the older and new LCD.

The session log also shows the maximum temperature for each charge session.

Do you have your station setup on Home Assistant? Home Assistant can provide further notification and run an automation if certain parameters are exceeded. I am thinking setting for an email notification for those without Home Assistant may be a good idea. I may add a feature suggestion on Github.
