One of our EV's is a 2022 Audi Q4 E-Tron. It pretty reliably stops charging with the car reporting a charging fault at 30% and 60% the Audi dealer checked the car and provided a service buliton https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-11005955-0001.pdf which says that it is fine because when you unplug and plug the charger the car continues to charg. the service bulliton is for a ABB charger. I have tried 2 of the three OpenEVSE units and we have experienced the issue with both of them. the issue is for DC charging, we have experienced the error codes only with AC charging.
