WiFi problem

The JuiceBox replacement board is installed and working.

I was able to connect my WiFi network, now the OPENEVSE wifi AP no longer shows

But now I cannot log on to the open EVSE  - http://openevse-4ce0.local.

my chrome browser refuses to connect, it says security violation

I had to guess the IP address using arp -a, but Chrome times out and there is no response from a ping

Also note: The only way I could get the OPENevse wifi AP back was to turn off my WiFi.  Then I found that I could not delete my wifi notwork name.

I really stuck,  any hints out there?

You may need to adjust your security settings in Chrome if you have changed the defaults to higher security levels. OpenEVSE is a local device and does not have HTTPS encryption . This is expected as it is a local device and your WiFi already has WPS encryption, enabling HTTPS would require a local domain and certificate authority which most home users do not have.

You can remove you home WiFi from the OpenEVSE settings:

turn off your home WiFi so OpenEVSE fails to connect

connect via the initial setup portal

go to Settings => Firmware and select Factory defaults.
