Swapping j1772 for mennekes

I’m looking to buy the advanced kit for use in the UK. https://store.openevse.com/products/advanced-kit While the product listing states J1772 cable is required, is it a simple switch for a tethered Type 2 Mennekes? I have a Type 2 cable already. Many thanks

Type 2 is fine. I have updated the product page to correctly address other EV cable options.
