Cable orientation

I am thinking of installing a second EVSE in such a location that having input on the right and output to car on the left would be preferable. I realise some careful internal wiring routing would be required, but any reason this would be impossible?

Has anyone actually done this?

It is possible but a little messy as the low voltage cables (pilot, GFCI coil and current coil) have to cross over from right to left.

Thanks. Good to know that as I hoped, just takes a little wiring 'finesse'.

What I also need of course is the ability to connect multiple units and limit max current draw.
