Updating a v2.5 EVSE

All upgrades are possible if your board is a 2.5. The port for the current coil should be right next to the power supply.

I have an Open EVSE from 2014, with a v2.5 board, LCD/RTC and the separate relays and fuses. It sounds like I can update to the latest firmware. Can I also replace the relays/fuses with the contactors and still have it mount in my aluminum enclosure?
It looks like I have the GFCI coil but no current measurement coil. Can I add that as well?
