I notice the circuit board has DC Relay 1 and DC relay 2. Is this to support two charge cords or just two relays on the same cord?

Or is relay 2 for some other function(ventilation fan?)?

OpenEVSE supports a single charge cord per controller.

The dual outputs for DC relays are to allow for stations built with two single pole relays or one double pole relay.

There is no reason you couldn't use it for ventilation fan, if your vehicle requires one (lead acid batteries).
