The color RGB LCDs with the clock already have a built in sensor. This can be added to stations without a display or stations that do not have the RTC clock chip.
The WiFi/OpenCMS reports an IR temp TMP007 on Temp3, is that actually supported? It always reports 23C on mine, wondering if it is not present or is broken. Also has an MCP9808 for Temp2 but always reports NaN. The DS3231 on Temp1 is fine.
Yes, the LED is the same hardware as the LCD, RGB LEDs of both connect to the same IO pins so they are plug compatible.

I have an Advanced Series Kit with LCD display. Is it possible to configure the OpenEVSE with the LCD for a certain installation conditions and then replace it to the Color LED v2 board before installing the wallbox for operation?
The idea behind the question before is that the installed wallbox should not have any kind of programming or configuration change in the charging point. The push button should be eliminated too.
In this way the access to all charging data and EVSE configuration should be done by wifi.
Anyone can confirm if such configuration could work?
The point behind the question before is that I want to install the EVSE without LCD display and the push button neither. In this way no one could make any changes to its configuration. If any configuration change would be necessary in the future so it should be done through the wi-fi.
Could any one confirm if such operation mode could work fine?
