OpenEVSE is full compatible with the BMW i3.
Yes, OpenEVSE is compatible with Type 2 Cables, the 50A kit is ready for single Phase, the contactor can be replaced for 3 Phase.

I would like to purchase 1 set of OpenEVSE Kit - 50A Deluxe but there are some questions as follow before I go.
1. Is it available for BMW i3?
2. Can you change the cable to IEC IEC62196-2 Type 2
