Hi All,
so I know there have been a lot of people in the past looking for when octopus will support Openevse which got me thinking, as my brother has a wallbox which integrates with octopus through OCPP (they provide the settings) and I was trying to work out if I could tell octopus my charger was a wallbox to get the correct settings then get my Openevse to mimic the same status’s and the likes into octopus so they would think my charger is a wallbox.
Has anyone done this, and if so did they find a way of getting it working, or if not does anyone know if I could get my Openevse to report in the same details?
I found on another site which talks about setting up an OCPP server on my end to integrate wallbox into an automation platform that the wallbox reports in the below:
EnergyActiveImportRegister or EnergySession (they give the same readings)
PowerActiveImport (instantaneous charging power)
CurrentOffered (maximum charging current available)
Voltage (single phase models only, doesn’t work on 3-phase)
Frequency (single phase models only, doesn’t work on 3-phase)
TimeSession (elapsed time from start of charging session)
not sure if it needs anything additional, but happy to try and connect up a wallbox if I can get access to my brothers to see if there is anything else it reports in
