If you drill holes for circulation (not recommended in the first place) make sure to cover them with bug screen/mesh.
My unit is located in my garage and I was having thermal issues at one point so I drilled 1/8" ventilation holes (and didn't cover them with mesh). A year later, a lady beetle took a stroll on the relay contacts and caused a relay fault. Removing the beetle fixed the problem :)
