OCPP Support

Are your charge points able to support OCPP, if not do you have any plans to develop anything ?

OpenEVSE supports OCPP 1.6J.

Is this over the wifi board? Is there an ethernet board?

OCPP is supported through the OpenEVSE ESP32 firmware. The official board built and supported by OpenEVSE is currently WiFi only. An Ethernet version is in development.


There are Ethernet ESP32 versions available currently, however they are not supported by OpenEVSE.  The firmware for the Olimex ESP32 Gateway is automatically compiled as a curiosity. A DC/DC converter is required to get power from the 12v primary output of the OpenEVSE controller and provide 5v to the Ethernet gatewary.
